Your role

As an operator, you will be part of a shift together with four colleagues, where you will jointly be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Media's facilities. Media's operational area includes, among other things, heating, ventilation, water supply, water lifting from the open pits, dam systems, flue gas boiler/district heating, and compressed air.

At the Media department in Svappavaara, we have a strong community and short communication paths, which means opportunities for influence and participation in shaping and developing work methods and your workday. You will have strong support from solution-oriented colleagues and close collaboration with other professional groups at Media.

Your daily tasks as an operator include, for example:

• Operation and maintenance of flue gas boilers, oil boilers, and pressurized vessels
• Operation of water lifting in mines, investigations, troubleshooting, and proposals for measures
• Dams inspections
• Monitoring and maintenance of pumping systems
• Installation and maintenance within HVAC

What you bring with you

We expect you to have

• Approved high school education
• Driver's license B for manual transmission
• You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Education or experience in HVAC, industry, or mechanics
• Experience in the mining industry and facilities
